KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. The Program Test Systems Engineer will join a Systems Engineering team defining the next generation of space communication systems supporting Air Force Military Satellite Communications. Responsibilities include developing T&E strategy, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, requirement verification and test plans, test objectives, test methodology, and evaluation criteria; collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting T&E data; supporting implementation of common Test and Evaluation database; supporting T&E reviews, audits, IPTs, DRBs, MIPRBs, and TIMs; procuring test equipment and developing test plans; providing government leads with verification of compliance status; supporting capacity planning and reporting; implementing Test tools and DevOps for testing analysis; developing system-of-systems verification and integration plans; collecting and analyzing data during integration events; and improving procedures and processes. The role requires working on-site with minimal travel, standard working hours, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Qualifications include a BS degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science; 7+ years of test and evaluation experience with DoD/USAF processes; 10+ years in systems engineering; 3+ years in space systems; experience with military or DoD civilian clients; strong interpersonal and communication skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include an MS degree, experience with ground systems and military space systems, experience writing Test and Evaluation Master Plans, and systems engineering certifications. Location preference is Colorado Springs, CO, with Los Angeles, CA acceptable but requiring willingness to travel up to a couple of weeks per month. The position offers a salary range of $135,000 - $160,000 in Colorado and $145,000 - $175,000 in California.
