ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re seeking a full-time Social Media Manager to join our NYC team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing content production and distribution across social platforms. You will lead the charge in growing our organic presence across platforms. You’ll own the strategy and execution of content that’s not just beautiful — but drives engagement, community, and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting innovative social media strategies and projects , driving creative and engaging content.
  • Lead the production of social media content , ensuring alignment with content calendars and marketing objectives.
  • Lead our community presence and make sure every post and ad sparks real engagement, conversations, and connection.
  • Direct and support a team of in-house and freelance editors and content creators , ensuring all content meets high-quality standards, follows platform best practices, and incorporates client feedback.
  • Manage project workflows and content organization using internal systems, ensuring content is produced on time and distributed efficiently.
  • Take an active role in social team meetings : prepare agendas, capture feedback, and communicate key action items to internal and external teams.
  • Work closely with our brand lead , designers and other stakeholders to bring our brand vision to life through compelling content and organic presence.

Who are you?

  • 2–4 years of experience managing organic social content and strategy.
  • Live and breath social trends in fitness and wellness! (TikTok, Reels etc.).
  • No ego, no waiting around — you dive in, figure it out, and keep things moving.
  • Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
  • A strong creative eye — you know what good content looks like.
  • Experienced in managing creators and freelancers.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Must be able to track and analyze social media performance metrics, extract actionable insights, and use them to continuously refine strategy and optimize content across platforms.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-moving environments.
  • Familiar with tools like Notion, Asana, Airtable, Monday, Trello or Sprout.
